Bristol NW Network Calendars will be disappearing

Sadly, the 2017 Calendar is likely to be our last. With Wendy Hull stepping down as Chair of BNWN in September, we have been unable to find anyone to organise the calendar for 2018. If you could possibly take this on, or would like to find out more about it (without commitment), please use the Contact Us form to get in touch with Wendy, who will be able to tell you exactly what's involved!

Without the Calendar, we will lose an important source of funding for the Bristol NW Network.

The calendar, produced annually by Bristol NW Network, is still available to purchase.  It displays beautiful photographs of Bristol, as well as personal safety and crime prevention tips.

The cost of the calendar has been kept at just £2.50 again this year, making this a lovely, useful, inexpensive gift idea, and it's the cheapest 'Bristol' calendar you will find anywhere!

If you would like a calendar, there are various collection points across the city to help you avoid postage costs. Get in touch through our Contact Us form to say how many you would like to buy (1 is fine!)

Proceeds from sales of the calendar help us support NW groups across the city.

Wendy Hull, Chair of Bristol NHW Network was delighted to present Jonathan Carter with his prize of a Panasonic Lumix FT20 camera, kindly donated by Costco, as the winner of the 'Spot the Landmark' competition in the 2014 Bristol Calendar.  It was appropriate to present him with his prize at this location, as amazingly he identified 39 of the 40 locations pictured, and this was the only landmark that he wasn't able to name!

Jonathan was given his calendar at Christmas by his mother who lives in Brentry, and apparently started immediately trying to locate the landmarks, so many congratulations to him!

Second and third prizes of store vouchers, kindly donated by Tesco, were presented to Chris Curtis from Shirehampton who won second prize, and joint third prizes went to Ann Boutall of Spike Island and Cheryl Hawkins from Stoke Bishop.

Look out for another 'Spot the Landmark' competition in the 2015 Bristol calendar, which will be on sale from late August.  Applications for the calendar can be made through your Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator, or by sending an e-mail to: bristolnhwnetwork@gmail.com
